The first one which caught my attention was the Phillips air fryer.'The Philips Air Fryer uses rapid air technology to deliver meals quickly and with little or no use of oil.' Its design definately stands out amongst other air fryers on the market for its visual language which speaks more sanitary, medical and mother rather than 'kitchen appliance'. This was likely in the intent to persuade consumers of its health benefits of using air frying. It innovation is in the phillips patented rapid air technology which enables consumers to have fries with 80% less fat.

With the amazing challenges overcome by the Blackmagic design team I believe this could be winner in the consumer electronic category.
With 2012 seemingly like bikes were all the rage with 2 bicycle entries, Chapelli bike winning the transport category, this year the bike absence is replaced by water jets, outlanders and roadsters. The 2013 Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 watercraft is a beautifully designed by Canada's BRP who worked in collaboration with world champion racers.You can really feel the performance and visual impact the designers wanted to create. With fluro lime contrasted with a polished black connoting 'performace', 'velocity' and high energy'. While the form is a mixture of curved and sharp angular faces, seemlessly creating a sense of movement.
"The design theme is drawn from the overall character of a shark and is reflected by the forceful "flowing facet" design language that is true to Sea-Doo DNA".
The innovation features of this high performance water-craft are the Ergolock System” with “knee-pockets” that helps the rider “lock-in” using optimal leg strength that reduces efforts on arms and shoulders.
