Fish inspired fashion

Seemingly inspired by the complex beauty and graceful movements of exotic fish, Rodarte’s fall/winter 2008 runway show presented stunning ethereal and flowing dresses.

Weird n wonderful products

A Smile trainer to help you achieve that perfect smile :). Don't know if it works... But it is interesting that someone has found a solution to that crooked smile :S
Hamster shredding machine...LOL While this product is humerous placing a shredder above a hamster. It is a 2 in 1 product, being a shredding machine while also housing a hamster, There is no need to walk from shredder to hamster, its done in the same process.
Negatives: Sharp blades + animal= dead animal

This stylish fish bowl was designed by Teddy Luong for Umbra. You can stack them for a more hotel-like appearance.
I love, love, love this hotel fish bowl, i saw it in Pitt street Westfield for 70bux, i wudve bought it had it not been for the fact that i already have 4 fish tanks & a pond at home HAHA.  I love having Different size windows creates the illusion there are different rooms in the tank. Its also very artistic and very different from your average fish bowl/tank, generally clear glass on all sides.

Negatives:
Adding plants, filtration system, heater, would ruin the hotel illusion. So this tank is probably only ideal for cold water fishes e.g Goldfishes, fighting-fishes

Exploring complementary colour scheme

Art Designs of  J. Vincent Scarpace, Artist
Creating movement through diagonal lines and various textures. I love the use of complementary colours blue and orange, that makes it so bright and alive.

Mu daybed-Designer Toan Nguyen

MU is an imaginative and versatile modular furniture system specifically created for contemporary lifestyles. It can be easily adapted to the various spaces and layouts of a home’s living areas, indoor as well as out. Indeed, MU neatly combines the benefits of materials and textiles designed for outdoor usage with the modular logic, more compact size and increased comfort of the finest indoor sofas. And then there’s the name. The range is branded with a word — and an idea — derived from Zen philosophy, which truly brings out its harmonious, unobtrusive inner identity.

Frank Gehry inspired by Japanese fish

This is my frank Ghery inspired Pattern, tried to use curves and his iconic fish shape. But i think it turned out like a flower from the way i organised it...first impression of people is that think of a foral design... prob gna redo it? Dilemmaaaaaaa

I wanted to modernise this painting by replacing the paintings on the wall with television screens. It reminds of the television shops or Times Square in New York.
This is one of the images i wanted to recreate for my poster design. I wanted to use modern advertising on the posters, and perhaps replace the man's newspaper with an Ipad. But the picture is poor quality and too small to use :(

I was lost but now I'm found

Heres something about me, I'm a Catholic who has lost her faith for a couple of years now.  Ive been usually a cynical about God and all that, but now i am a believer. He is everything that I'm looking for, LOVE and a symbol of HOPE that theres is a better world. I dunt know whether im on a Hy but this is a good feeling, I've found my home.

So jst a couple of hours ago i was pretty gloomy but after goin to watch Bear Grylls (Man Vs The Wild) at Hillsong truly changed my perspective. It wasnt your ordinary church ceremony, whether it was the atmosphere, Bear Grylls or the cute one year old i was playing with. God gave me a message that his here for me, i want to devote my life to helping others n giving all i can, no matter what. I know its a big task but nothing is too hard when you have God with you.

So thanks to GOD, the almighty father <3 peace out

Whats wrong with the world?

Theres so much wrong in the world and i see it everyday. How can a father mistake his own son face as another person? How can a young, sweeet girl have a mother diagnosed with depression, father commit suicide and herself diagnosed with bulimia? How can a young girl think shes ugly? How can a bystander just stand and watch as an old lady trips n falls without helping her?

Please make the world a better place. One small act of kindness can mean the whole world to a person.

You say grace before meals.  All right.  But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip the pen in the ink.  ~G.K. Chesterton

The new beginnings of Uni life

So its 2nd day of Uni,
To do list: 2 Assignments        Planner : Field trip is tomorrow, Bear Grylls on Saturday
Currently googling images to inspire me for the project and soon to start drawing my pattern design.
This Islamic design will be my inspiration, found from http://www.patterninislamicart.com/publishedmaterial/?book_id=1&iid=3186. I'm hoping to incorporate its fantastic use of line thickness, octagons, half-moons and the star shapes.
